Introduction

Tamboti Bush Lodge is located in the middle of the Dinokeng Big 5 Game Reserve, just an hour’s drive from Johannesburg. The lodge is nestled in a grove of Tamboti trees, where visitors can identify over 80 indigenous tree species and more than 200 bird species. The area is malaria-free, quiet and tranquil, with shady trees and well-kept lawns.

When not out on game drives or exploring the reserve’s self-drive route, guests can relax at the swimming pool or in the thatched lapa, while children enjoy the playground. The lodge also offers WiFi for those needing to stay connected.

Dining is available at the on-site à la carte restaurant, where homecooked meals are served. Tamboti Bush Lodge is also suited to functions and corporate events, with the option to book the entire lodge for groups of eight or more. Custom packages can be arranged.

Accommodation

Tamboti Bush Lodge offers three comfortable suites and two luxury log cabins, each of which are air-conditioned and en-suite, and feature their own décor and style. All of the suites include a television and coffee-making facilities.

• Thutlwa – Very large air-conditioned suite, with a king- size bed and option to add another single bed. It has a large bathroom that includes a bath and shower.

• Bejane –Air-conditioned double suite with a single bed and a large en-suite bathroom with toilet, bath, shower and basin.

• Ndlovu –Air-conditioned double suite with two single beds and a large en-suite bathroom with toilet, bath, shower and basin.

• Zebra – Luxury air-conditioned log cabin with a queen- size bed, coffee area and desk, overlooking a dam. It has an en- suite bathroom with a shower, basin and toilet

• Kudu – Luxury air-conditioned log cabin with a queen- size bed, overlooking a dam. It has an en- suite bathroom with a shower, basin and toilet.
